Squeeze pages help Internet marketers a great way to capture email addresses in order to build a profitable list. When used correctly they provide a simple way to increase your sales and increase the number of people opting into your marketing list.
Basically a squeeze page gives a small taste of your website to your squeeze page visitor while encouraging them to sign up on your mailing list.
The main elements of squeeze pages are a web form that will send your visitors’ information to your autoresponder so that they will automatically be sent information you have promised them or they have requested.
It would be best to include an attractive headline and some content about what you are offering on your main website. The combination of these facets will hopefully entice your visitors to give you their information and get added to your mailing list.
You will want to make your squeeze page attractive and as simple as possible as to engage your visitors convincing them into filling out their information as fast as possible. Among the things you can offer would be a concise report about your subject matter that will be sent in daily parts using your autoresponder.
To recap, this is what a squeeze page can consist of. An enticing title telling the visitor what they will get for signing up. You will also want convey to the visitor what they will receive, how it will help them, and how they will benefit from this help.
That’s it. Using a squeeze page you can get a visitor’s email address and name so that you can put them on your optin list. Your optin list is the bread and butter of your internet marketing business.
If you intend to make money on the internet this is a must have element of your business. By opting in on your squeeze page, your visitor gives you permission to send them email and it will not be considered SPAM. They will always have the opportunity opt out of your email list, this giving them control to end emails you send them if they are no longer interested in what you are offering them.
Most major autoresponder systems will require you to use the double opt in method when subscribers sign up. Using the double opt in method, your visitor gets to your squeeze page and decides you are offering something they are interested in. They sign up using the web form on your squeeze page that is linked to your auto responder. They will be sent a confirmation email via your auto responder. Once they confirm that they signed up for your information they will be redirected to another page that may contain your free product or free information.
It happens every now and then. People figure out how to bypass your sign up page to try and get your report of product without opting into your list. You can utilize some encryption tools that will prevent this,
I hope you are seeing the advantages of using squeeze pages when marketing your products and services. Now that you see this, you have to take steps to make this happen.
Once you start building a list you want to give your subscribers useful information or products to show good will. You don’t want to be a marketer that just hammers your mailing list with offers while never really giving them anything useful. It turns off potential customers and you will lose sales if you beat your list up too bad.
